An evening with Dingle

We welcomed Dave Cummins from the Dingle distillery to Browne's lounge on Thursday 18 September and it was an excellent evening. Our sold-out crowd - roughly 50 people at the event - were treated to brilliant stories from the town and environs, along with a history of the distillery and its releases.

We were treated to new make spirit, along with the Single Malt and Single Pot Still expressions, with the highlight (arguably!) being the 10-year old Single Malt. The evening was a journey from new make through to mature whiskeys and it was really enjoyable to trace the flavours from start to finish.

All of the samples were complimented on the night and even the colour profiles were notable and commented on.

We really enjoy the Dingle story and were delighted to welcome Dave to our corner of Ireland. No doubt many bottles of Dingle will be enjoyed around Gorey in the months ahead!
