Our final event of the year was a sold-out evening with Liam Brogan of Two Stacks whiskey. We gathered in Browne's Bar 45 and were treated to a range of samples from the Two Stacks portfolio including the legendary Polaris 2.1 and a 21-year old from their Native Birds Trilogy.
Many attendees weren't quite sure what bottlers and blenders do, so there was plenty of learning on the night and Liam was brilliant at explaining their process.
No only is Liam co-founder of Two Stacks whiskey, he's also a co-founder of Killowen Distillery - a distillery with a very loyal following. Liam's work has also included importing and distributing alcohol, so it's an incredibly rounded journey.
Browne's Bar 45 was our venue as it can cater for a larger group than the lounge. It's a covered and heated area that was comfortable - even during a week of cold weather and storms. Nevertheless, the attendees wrapped themselves up warm!
The feedback from the event was very positive - the whiskeys themselves and Liam's easy way with the attendees were winners. We'll catch up with Liam again at events during 2025!
