Whiskey Live 2025

Whiskey Live is one of those "must attend" events every year and so we made our annual pilgrimage to the RDS in the middle of May. Jen, John Lynch, Sam and I dropped in and really enjoyed catching up with old friends and meeting new friends.

We attended the more civilized tasting at lunchtime on the Friday where we had more time to chat with exhibitors and the general atmosphere is pretty chilled and less crazy than some of the later tastings.

This year we didn't attend any masterclasses. By the time we'd visited all the stands we wanted to visit and met all the exhibitors we wanted to chat to, we would have had very little time to attend anything.

Over the course of the three-and-a-half hours we bumped into quite a few club members too, and it's always fun to chat about the favourite samples of the day.

It's not all about whiskey - it was great to chat to the Túath team about their glassware

The Poloris 2.1 from Two Stacks was our favourite whiskey of 2024 and we had the chance to (finally!) hand the prize to Liam on the day
