Whiskey Live 2026

We all love Whiskey Live Dublin and 2026's edition was no different. Run by the fantastic folks at the Celtic Whiskey Shop, there were over 100 exhibitors on the day and the only issue is trying to say hello to all of our friends!

As is tradition, we met in Searson's on Baggot Street for lunch and enjoyed marvelling at their excellent whiskey selection!

We spent a lot of time chatting with our friends at Bushmills (thanks Mark!), Boann (hi Gary!), Two Stacks (great sups Liam!), Powerscourt (great to catch up John!), Killowen (those were very cask strength, Brendan!) and Echlinville (more classics, Niall!). We found time to chat to a lot of people over the day.

A huge part of the craic was just hanging out with other club members, both during and after the event.

There was a lovely opportunity to reconnect with presenters we've met before at other events or who are visiting Gorey in the near future.

We hadn't been in touch with Malcolm since the South East Whiskey Festival

We hung out with Daíthí and Mark at the WD O'Connell stand and reminded ourselves of just how good some of their single cask releases are.

Daíthí was eager for us to try the Tomásín 8 - we're very glad we did!

Of course no visit to Whiskey Live would be ccomplete without a refreshing drink or two across the road from the RDS afterwards. I'm not quite sure what was going on here, but it was plenty of fun!

An excellent event as always. When's the next one?
